Dr. Wu Rivas of PACT Primary Care- Orange Receives the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award

Dr. Lena Wu Rivas, M.D., FACP Internal Medicine, of PACT Primary Care- Orange,

was recently awarded the highly coveted Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award for her commitment to furthering healthcare education. This award celebrates clinical faculty at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. The Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine was developed to be a model for educating diverse, patient-centered physicians who are partners and leaders in an interprofessional workforce responsive to healthcare needs in the communities they serve.

Dr. Wu Rivas attended medical school at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Dr. Wu Rivas is board certified in internal medicine. She has privileges at Milford Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital, and St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She is also an assistant clinical professor at the Frank H. Netter M.D. School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. In 2021, Dr. Wu Rivas was voted 2021 “Best Family Doctor Winner” by the New Haven Register Reader’s Poll.
