About
Dr. Monica Munteanu graduated Carol Davila Medical School in Bucharest, Romania in 1997 and she completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Hospital of Saint Raphael/ Yale New Haven hospital in 2002. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine since 2002. Dr. Munteanu has been in private practice since 2002 as well as she has been an Assistant Clinical professor of Medicine at Yale Medical School- teaching Yale medical students and Yale residents. Since 2014, Dr. Munteanu has been teaching at Quinnipiac University Medical School, where she is a Clinical Professor of Medicine.
Dr. Munteanu has been a primary care provider for almost 20 years and she treats all spectrum of Internal Medicine problems, having a specific interest in preventative care, endocrinology and women's health. Dr. Munteanu believes in building strong relationships with her patients and in being involved in coordinating her patients comprehensive care.
In her free time, Dr. Munteanu enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and watching home improvement shows
