Dr. Soucy was born in Westchester County, NY and attended University of Rochester for his undergraduate training, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in molecular genetics and a minor in music. He then received his M.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. Following that, he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia, PA, where he graduated with distinction in medical education. He then relocated to Albany, NY for his gastroenterology fellowship.
Dr. Soucy joined PACT Gastroenterology Center after finishing his fellowship in 2025. His special interests include inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), functional and motility gastrointestinal disorders, liver diseases, and medical education.

Shanna is wonderful, she is smart and to the point ! She was able to help me diagnose my problem when just about no other doctor I seen prior could do !! I’m currently 5 weeks from a sports hernia surgery and I’m finally going in the right direction! I still have some healing and physical therapy to go but for the first time in a year after 3 surgeries I feel hopeful to get back to work!!!

Dr Ginsburg is amazing. He literally saved my daughters life her Freshman year of college when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Thanks to him and his amazing staff she is now in remission and thriving. I’m not sure who wrote that his office staff was unfriendly or he has no beside manners because nothing could be further from the truth. Highly recommend!

Went to see Dr Ginsburg for a second opinion, have been beyond impressed- I’ll continue my 45 minute commutes to continue with him as my doctor. The staff has been so thorough with making sure I have appointments set up with his office and elsewhere (for testing, referrals etc.) Dr Ginsburg covers all the important aspects related to my GI-health and not just what is bothering me in that moment.
