About
Dr. Lena Wu Rivas attended medical school at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic. After medical school, she worked for three years seeing diabetic patients in the Patronato de Lucha Contra La Diabetes in Santiago, where she focused on treating type 1 and type 2 diabetic patients. She completed her internship and residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, where she became chief medical resident after her residency.
Dr. Wu Rivas is board certified in internal medicine. She has privileges at Milford Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital. She is also an assistant clinical professor at the Frank H. Netter M.D. School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
