Dr. Puchalski grew up in Ohio where he attended college at Denison University for his bachelor’s degree and Wright State University for medical school. Staying in Ohio, he completed his residency at The Ohio State University and fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. He completed his residency and fellowship in adult and pediatrics, the latter of which led to a career in Adult and Pediatric Pulmonary, Adult Critical Care and Interventional Pulmonology (Training at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania). Prior to joining PACT, he was in practice for 13 years at Yale University/Yale-New Haven Hospital. He’s traveled the world providing medical care (U.S., Dubai, Saudi Arabia, China, etc.) and is thrilled to join PACT focusing on adult pulmonary care.
He is an avid outdoors enthusiast and spent decades embracing various athletic challenges (Marathons, Ultra-distance Triathlons). He is blessed with 2 children who grew up in Guilford.

Shanna is wonderful, she is smart and to the point ! She was able to help me diagnose my problem when just about no other doctor I seen prior could do !! I’m currently 5 weeks from a sports hernia surgery and I’m finally going in the right direction! I still have some healing and physical therapy to go but for the first time in a year after 3 surgeries I feel hopeful to get back to work!!!

Dr Ginsburg is amazing. He literally saved my daughters life her Freshman year of college when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Thanks to him and his amazing staff she is now in remission and thriving. I’m not sure who wrote that his office staff was unfriendly or he has no beside manners because nothing could be further from the truth. Highly recommend!

Went to see Dr Ginsburg for a second opinion, have been beyond impressed- I’ll continue my 45 minute commutes to continue with him as my doctor. The staff has been so thorough with making sure I have appointments set up with his office and elsewhere (for testing, referrals etc.) Dr Ginsburg covers all the important aspects related to my GI-health and not just what is bothering me in that moment. I’m grateful for his detailed care, compassion and advocating for my well-being!
