Frank Zimmitti is a Physician Assistant with over 20 years of experience in primary care and internal medicine. The majority of his years serving the Connecticut community have been in an outpatient settings, but also skilled nursing facilities, long term care facilities and home care services. His medical practice interests focuses on preventative medicine, patient education and building long term relationships with his patients. Providing a holistic approach to patient care focusing on a healthy mental state, physical exercise and healthy eating habits are paramount to his clinical approach.
He is a father to two wonderful children, and considers himself a music enthusiast, recreational drummer and soccer playing fanatic.

Shanna is wonderful, she is smart and to the point ! She was able to help me diagnose my problem when just about no other doctor I seen prior could do !! I’m currently 5 weeks from a sports hernia surgery and I’m finally going in the right direction! I still have some healing and physical therapy to go but for the first time in a year after 3 surgeries I feel hopeful to get back to work!!!

Dr Ginsburg is amazing. He literally saved my daughters life her Freshman year of college when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Thanks to him and his amazing staff she is now in remission and thriving. I’m not sure who wrote that his office staff was unfriendly or he has no beside manners because nothing could be further from the truth. Highly recommend!

Went to see Dr Ginsburg for a second opinion, have been beyond impressed- I’ll continue my 45 minute commutes to continue with him as my doctor. The staff has been so thorough with making sure I have appointments set up with his office and elsewhere (for testing, referrals etc.) Dr Ginsburg covers all the important aspects related to my GI-health and not just what is bothering me in that moment. I’m grateful for his detailed care, compassion and advocating for my well-being!
