About Provider

Dr Jagadeesh’s upbringing and medical training has spanned several continents. She was born in Jamaica and raised in the Bahamas with parents of Indian origin. She graduated from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore, India. Subsequently, she pursued a post-graduate degree in the United Kingdom and was inducted into the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2002. Her transatlantic journey gave rise to a residency training program in Internal Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), Ohio and received a certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She was a faculty member at Lerner School of Medicine as a clinical assistant professor practicing clinical medicine and teaching medical students at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

In 2009 she moved to Connecticut and joined Griffin Faculty Physicians as a primary care physician and an integral part of the teaching faculty of the internal medicine residency program. During this time, she also taught students from Frank H. Netter School of Medicine, Quinnipiac University, and advanced nurse practitioner and physician assistant trainees.

Dr. Jagadeesh has been passionate about addressing underlying metabolic illnesses in patients throughout her career. This led her to a certification in obesity medicine and is a diplómate of American Board of Obesity Medicine since January, 2023. She has been invited to talks and discussion panels in the community on the chronic illness of obesity, embracing the opportunity to educate and improve the health of others. Incorporating obesity medicine remains a focus of her clinical practice as she joins PACT.
