Dr. Balas practices in our West Haven office. He is affiliated with St. Vincent's Medical Center, Yale-New Haven Hospital’s York Street campus and Yale-New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael campus.
About
Dr. Horatiu Cosmin Balas attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Tîrgu Mureș, Romania. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at the Hospital of Saint Raphael. Dr. Balas practiced internal medicine at Gwinnett Clinic in Liburn, Georgia, before joining PACT Primary Care, formerly known as West Haven Medical Group. He also performed basic research at Jean Mayer Human Nutrition Research Institute on Aging at Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Balas is board certified in internal medicine and has privileges at St. Vincent's Medical Center and Yale-New Haven Hospital.
