Adult Vaccine Schedule by Age & Risk

Vaccine recommendations change throughout adulthood. The general guidance below is based on CDC recommendations. Your clinician will personalize it to your health history and risk factors.

Ages 19–26: HPV series (if not completed), annual flu shot, COVID-19 as recommended, and catch-up vaccines such as Tdap, MMR, hepatitis B, or varicella if not previously received.
Ages 27–49: Annual flu shot, COVID-19 as recommended, a Td/Tdap booster every 10 years, and catch-up vaccines based on history and risk.
Ages 50–64: Annual flu shot, COVID-19 as recommended, the shingles vaccine (recommended starting at age 50), Td/Tdap booster, and pneumococcal vaccine for certain higher-risk adults.
