Testimonials
I saw Diane Graham as my first primary doctor after aging out of my pediatrician’s office. She was wonderful and gave me awesome recommendations for little issues that I had that other doctors never bothered to give me! Finally, I am not anxious about doctor visits!

Went to the Ansonia office. Visit was pleasant, didn’t have a wait to be seen, Shanna Gannon, PA was very nice, helpful, and patient with my needs. Highly recommend Dr. Aversa, Shanna Gannon, PA, and staff.

Shanna is wonderful, she is smart and to the point ! She was able to help me diagnose my problem when just about no other doctor I seen prior could do !! I’m currently 5 weeks from a sports hernia surgery and I’m finally going in the right direction! I still have some healing and physical therapy to go but for the first time in a year after 3 surgeries I feel hopeful to get back to work!!!

Dr Ginsburg is amazing. He literally saved my daughters life her Freshman year of college when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Thanks to him and his amazing staff she is now in remission and thriving. I’m not sure who wrote that his office staff was unfriendly or he has no beside manners because nothing could be further from the truth. Highly recommend!
- Karen Diorio, Google Review
Went to see Dr Ginsburg for a second opinion, have been beyond impressed- I’ll continue my 45 minute commutes to continue with him as my doctor. The staff has been so thorough with making sure I have appointments set up with his office and elsewhere (for testing, referrals etc.) Dr Ginsburg covers all the important aspects related to my GI-health and not just what is bothering me in that moment. I’m grateful for his detailed care, compassion and advocating for my well-being!

Many patients ask, “does insurance cover colonoscopy?” The good news is most insurance plans, including Medicare, cover routine preventative colorectal screenings; check with your insurance carrier on their coverage policy. We also offer low-cost colonoscopy options and assistance for uninsured patients.
What are colon polyps? Polyps are growths in the colon that can develop into cancer over time. Our specialists offer expert polyp surveillance colonoscopies, polyp removal, and ongoing monitoring to prevent colon cancer naturally.
It depends on your age, family history, and prior test results. Most people should have their first colonoscopy around aged 45 and a colonoscopy every 10 years, but those with higher risk factors may need to start younger or have them more frequently.
Colonoscopy is considered the most effective method for detecting colorectal cancer, but options like the fecal immunochemical test (FIT) and Cologuard may be suitable for some patients who do not qualify for a colonoscopy.
If polyps are detected during a colonoscopy, they can often be removed immediately to prevent cancer development. Follow-up polyp surveillance colonoscopies may be required.
Yes, Medicare and most insurance plans cover preventive colorectal cancer screenings, including colonoscopies. Additional costs may be incurred depending on the test results and other factors.
Don’t wait—early detection can save your life.
