PACT Virtual TeleHealth Services

Patients with COVID-19 Symptoms

PLEASE NOTE: Out of an abundance of caution, patients who exhibit COVID-19 symptoms will not be seen in the office. Sick patients will be screened via phone call. Patients with fever, cough, shortness of breath, and diarrhea will only be seen via TeleHealth appointments.

TeleHealth Appointments

To better serve our new and existing patients, we have extended our services to offer TeleHealth appointments. Virtual, TeleHealth appointments are done from the comfort and safety of your own home using your personal device’s camera/video function. If you do not have a camera function, you can have a telephone-only appointment. This serves as an alternative to an in-person office visit, which is still available if preferred.

Find a PACT Provider

There are a few systems that your provider may connect with you virtually.  The platform will be discussed as you schedule your visit; each is easy-to-use, secure and HIPAA compliant. In addition, most prescriptions can be sent electronically directly to your pharmacy after your appointment.

TeleHealth is a suitable option for many primary care and specialty appointment concerns, including, but not limited to:

  • Wellness visits and check-ups
  • Sick visits
  • Prescription renewals

This is not a comprehensive list. For a specific question regarding TeleHealth appointment availability, please call your medical practice directly.

Patient costs for TeleHealth services are determined by your insurance carrier and your individual-specific plan. To determine the cost sharing amount, you should verify and receive a confirmation with your health insurance company. You may also call our billing department at (203) 488-7228 (select option 1) to obtain the self-pay rate if you do not have insurance.

TeleHealth Technology Requirements

For virtual appointments, patients will need internet access and a fully charged smartphone, computer or laptop with a camera and microphone enabled. Prior to the appointment time, you will receive a link to access your appointment with detailed instructions.  The instructions are also available for download below.

Is a TeleHealth appointment right for you? You can schedule a TeleHealth appointment just like an in-person visit. Please call one of our medical practices below to schedule a TeleHealth appointment today. Please note, at this time, PACT Dermatology does not offer virtual TeleHealth services.
